Terms of Service

Welcome to dog2show. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the dog2show platform, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by dog2show ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Features that involve a payment may only be paid for by an adult. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the payment, and you may use those features only with their permission.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Description of Service

dog2show is a platform for the dog show community that enables users to:

• Dog Owners: Register dogs, manage dog profiles and pedigree information, and record and view competition results.
• Breeders: Create and maintain kennel profiles, showcase breeding programs, and connect with the community.
• Public Users: View public dog, breeder and litter profiles, and explore pedigree information.

dog2show is a public database: dog profiles, pedigrees, results, and kennel and litter pages can be seen by anyone, including people without an account. What is shown publicly, and what never is, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including dog profiles, photos, kennel information, and show results ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, translate, display, and distribute it, ourselves and through the service providers that help us run the Service, solely in connection with operating the Service, including showing it on your kennel's website. The license continues for content that stays on the Service after you delete your account, such as the photos and results of dogs that remain listed.

You represent that you have the right to submit all User Content and that it does not:

• Infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• Contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

5. Kennel Websites

A verified kennel on a plan that includes one can have a website on the Service, built from its data on dog2show, at an address of ours such as kennelname.dog2show.com. The address is given from your kennel name and may change if the name changes. For the website:

• You are responsible for what the website shows, as for all your User Content, and for any information the law requires you to give as a breeder or seller. Publish photos of other people, such as families with the puppies they took home, only with their consent.
• Your story is translated into the Service's languages automatically, and the website says so. You can correct any translation; check them, as you answer for what they say.
• A draft of your story that you ask the Service to write is made automatically from your kennel's data and may contain mistakes. Check it before you save it: once saved, it is your User Content.
• Messages visitors send through the website's contact form are delivered to you. Use the sender's details only to answer them, and handle them as the law requires of you.
• The website is published while your kennel is verified, the plan that includes it is active and it has the content a website needs (listed on your website page), and is taken down when any of these ends. We may also take it down if it breaks these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false pedigree information, fabricated titles, or fraudulent dog registrations
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by dog2show and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

8. Data Accuracy and Pedigree Information

While we strive to maintain accurate information, dog2show does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any pedigree data, breeding records, health information, or competition results displayed on the platform. Users are responsible for verifying information independently with relevant kennel clubs and registries.

Pedigree data read automatically from documents you upload may contain errors. Review it before saving; you remain responsible for the pedigree information you publish.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dog2show shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We are not liable for any disputes between users, including but not limited to disputes regarding dog ownership, pedigree information, or show results.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile. Your personal data is then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy; dogs you own alone remain on the Service without an owner, because other dogs' pedigrees depend on them. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version is published on the Service with its "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using your account; you can instead stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
